Self Affirmations
What is a Self Affirmation you may ask..... well according to Kate Britt, editor and technical writer, "An affirmation is, simply, positive self-talk. It is a statement about ourselves or our situation, phrased in the present tense as if the statement is already true."
In my experience, shifting your thought process and making these self affirmations can actually shift the way you see yourself and others. There are so many negative seeds that are planted in us as we grow. These negative seeds end up coming out in ways that effect our relationships with family, freinds and life partners.
Since we can't go back to the past to change how and when these negative seeds were planted, the only course of action is to forge ahead with our lives and shift our thinking by affirming, on a daily basis, positive talk and positive images of how we would like our life to be.
