While stress can be beneficial in moderate amounts, it is harmful in excessive amounts, as are most things. These days we all encounter the maximum amount of stress imaginable which puts our minds and bodies at risk. Stress can cause problems in different systems all over your body. Some problems are immediate like digestive trouble or a racing heartbeat but other problems are more likely to occur the longer you are under stress.
